The Blumenauer Witching Hour is coming — a one-day Halloween & Día de los Muertos festival transforming the Eastside into a vibrant, car-free corridor of celebration and connection. For the first time ever, a full stretch of the future Green Loop will close to traffic and open for people. Anchored by the Blumenauer Bridge and the cultural hub of the Bear Blocks, this community-powered event reimagines our streets as spaces for creativity, joy, and sustainable urban life. At Witching Hour, you'll find: 🎃 Pumpkin painting stations 👻 Pet costume contest & bike decorating parades 🛍️ Pop-up market with local makers 🌮 Food vendors + beer garden 🎶 Live DJs & music performances 🎨 Street games, inflatables, and hands-on sustainability fun 🛍️ A “bike-in” screening of Coco 💀 Milagro’s Día de los Muertos Altar Ride from 12-3 PM 📣 Tabling Opportunities We’re inviting community groups, nonprofits, and local businesses to host a booth or table. You are welcome to sell, sample, give out info, have an activity, etc! Please bring candy for the kids! - Each tabling organization will receive: 1 10x10 space for one canopy, one table, and two chairs.
